It took me a while, but here I am again with an update from 'pixie land’. First I would like to thank RenĂ© and Mayte for their update on Noa and Dana and the nice picture of these two lovely ladies. They are doing very well and Mayte and RenĂ© love them very much. Kittens do grow so fast! They aren’t even a year old and so big already! Once again I want to thank you for the update and the picture. Give them a big hug from me!

I also would like to thank Alwin for the pictures of Buddha and for the reference! I am so happy with that! Buddha is already a big boy and isn’t even a year old! The reference is unfortunately only in Dutch. Alwin, again thanks for the update, pictures and the reference and give Shiva, Buddha and Mimie a big hug from me.

I also want to thank Frencis and Piet for the lovely pictures of Tommy! Tommy is 11 months old and such a beautiful cat. He is a full brother of our Mambo only a few months older. So quit! Again thanks for these great pictures and give Tommy a big hug from me!

Then about the kittens. Marilyn and Sam are doing very well. I no longer weigh them daily, because I see them eating and they are full of energy. So that's okay. And they do grow! Look at their weight list. They are so sweet, playful and cuddly. I can’t get enough of them.

Unfortunately Igor wasn’t doing well these last few days. He had lost so much weight and forcing him to eat wasn’t easy. I took him to my vet, but she couldn’t find anything. I don’t know what it was or what caused it. He was nauseous and had diarrhea. But after a few days forcing him to eat he has recovered! He now eats by himself and is gaining weight again. What a relief!

Gladly the other kittens of Macy and Mia are doing fine. They grow very fast. They eat their self and that is exceptional for me! Because, most of my former kittens began to eat at 6 or 7 weeks of age. But since there are 9 of them they need to. I am very happy about that, because it relieves the mothers at least a bit. Poor Macy has lost so much weight. Mia on the other hand has still kept her figure;-). So I think that she leaves most work up to Macy .... I don’t weigh them daily anymore now they are eating themselves. And they grow very well. Furthermore, some of these kittens are a bit ‘untidy’ .... I noticed them peeing and defecating outside their litter box! Dirty little kittens! The pictures are from last weekend, but I think they are funny. With 9 kittens in 1 basket! How long will this fit? And the way they eat .... Just sit in a jail so no one can reach it! They are so selfish ;-). I can’t get enough of these kittens. When I come in their room, I get "jumped" on! They will hang in my trousers, climbing up via my legs or on my back to sit on my shoulders. Very funny but also a bit painful at times ;-). I want to thank everyone again for the adoption of their kitten. Lucky me!

Last Sunday Corrinda and Martijn paid me a visit. Normally I do not plan events on Sundays, but I had decided to take a day of on Monday. So I didn’t want them to wait a few more weeks before they could choose a kitten. They have decided to adopt two kittens. Kitten 2 (male) of Macy and kitten 5 (female) of Mia! The male kitten will be called Pipo and the female kitten Momo. I am so happy that these 2 kittens could stay together! That will certainly become a love couple for life! I want to thank Corrinda and Martijn again for the adoption of these 2 kittens and I know they will have a great life with these two nice and young couple. Do come visit your kittens and me again when you find the time.

I have again received a note from Katrien and some photos of their Sam (kitten Millie born February 17, 2009). Sam is doing very well and until recently she has been spayed. When a cat is in heat you need to use ear plugs;-). The sound they made drives you insane. But Sam gladly recovered really fast. Sam is - as you can see – walking in the snow for the first time in her life! Katrien, thanks for the update and the pictures! I am glad that Sam is doing so well.

I Also received another nice picture of Chaplin & Linneke from Viv. Aren’t they sitting sweet next to each other?! Viv, thanks for this nice picture and I hope you will succeed visiting me and our kittens soon.

Sam and Marilyn are doing very well. They are so very font of meat (can food) that they will run for it when we held their plate. They do have guts to eat between all those big cats, but gladly my our other cats respect them. Also, they love attention. They love to be cuddled and played with.

The kittens of Macy and Mia become more playful and cuddly every day. When I hug them and talk to them, they begin to shout and scream to me! Like "Pick me up! Give me attention! "So cute! I go sitting in their crate with part of my body and they crawl all over me. That will be something when they are bigger! Must say that their room is so dusty. You need to clean their room every day, because so many cats in such a small space and also litter trays which are very dusty also ... You won’t believe what you see! Cleaning is a daily task that I am not font of ;-). Since Friday Maya and her kittens are now permanently moved to our living room. Maya was not so sweet to the kittens of Macy and Mia. She became quite nervous now their kittens are walking around in their room. Fortunately, Sam and Marilyn are exemplary. They have not dug in my plants or chew on our wiring. Well fingers crossed that it stays that way ;-). Once the little ones of Mia and Macy are somewhat bigger, they also will get more space. But for now, their little room is a whole new world for them.

Friday afternoon Laura, Ron and their children, Fleur and Merel paid me a visit. Very nice people and they are also coming from my home town Amersfoort! It was very nice meeting them and the kittens have received a lot of hugs. With great difficulty, they finally came to a choice. Yes, it is not easy to choose out of so many kittens when they are so similar. They have chosen kitten 3 of Macy (the female with the short tail) and kitten 4 of Mia (for now the smallest and darkest male). They still need to think of a good name. They already had a few, but the whole family needs to like the names chosen. I want to thank Ron and Laura and their two little daughters once again for the adoption of these 2 kittens and I hope to see them soon.

Saturday Annemarie and Wim paid me a visit too. It is nice when you finally meet someone in person. Annemarie choose kitten 1 from Mia and she will call him Leevie. Annemarie had no hard time choosing this kitten. She had choose Leevi by his fur (the pattern). Annemarie I want to thank you once again for the adoption of Leevie and I know he will have a great life living with you!

Also Mireille, Rene, Sharon and Jeremy joined me Saturday. They wanted to see their Bumper again. And finally there is something to see, because the kittens are so full of live now! My cats and I are very happy with their visits. Since all our cats and kittens got a lot of attention. Yes, they are all animal lovers and they get along with cats so well. I must say. Thanks again for visiting us and hope to see you soon!

The kittens are doing well. Sam and Marilyn are so playful. They run through the house and Mambo joins them. But they need to learn to eat properly. The other kittens are still in the crate, but they also begin to be more alert to their surroundings. I did mark the little ones and hope they will stay on. But I will keep an eye on them. It is otherwise very difficult to keep them apart. There are too many and they look very similar. Starting next week I know which kitten is still available. Both Friday and Saturday people will come to choose their kitten. Exciting! I am very curious who they will choose. I have the kitten page of Macy and Mia updated, but it is so difficult to photograph kittens when they are still so small and scared….

First, we wish you all a Happy New Year! I hope that 2010 will be a good year for all of us.

Yesterday Callista and Ben paid me a visit and have besides Marilyn adopted kitten 1 from Macy. He will be called Igor from now on. I want to thank Callista and Ben again. I am very pleased that Marilyn and Igor will live with them. They will have anything a cat desire.

The kittens are doing very well. All kittens are still gaining weight and the mothers rarely deviate from their side. I am so lucky! Herewith a few photos that I've taken a few days ago.
